Well, it's been a hot minute since I sat down and thought about what I am going to write! There has been a lot of change, and a lot of inspiration, so here is the pick of the draw of what filled my cup in March & April!
As you can see from my previous posts, March was all about following, finding & filling with joy. As soon as March ended I knew it had to be continued into April. Strengthened (my 2021 word) with Joy was what stood as a bookend to these two months.
Strengthening Faith
This book 'Connected' by Anna Goodman, has been the starter of my morning, and the thinker throughout my day. So many times, what has been on the page has connected with what God has been starting to say to me. I love it and would totally recommend it. I also joined a huddle with Sarah from Kingdom Calling Blog, to grow in prophetic gifting. It has been such a powerhouse of encouragement so far! Finally, I have been completely 'nourished' every Sunday evening with an IGTV series by Jen Frost also called 'nourish'. You can find her on instagram under @jenjenfrost
Strengthening Passions
I have just this afternoon finished the first edit (need to add the bells & whistles) of my first episode of Contains Caffeine! I am so excited to get this project finally underway. I actually recorded the podcast in April with Jenni Osborn but it has taken me a sweet month to actually sit down and edit. It was such an inspiring conversation and I am looking forward to releasing it!

Strengthening Me
I have three absolute winners this month for strengthening my inner me! As well as some corker days at work, and a brilliant month-long project that gave me so much joy, I have been absolutely filling my cup with these incredible women! Every Monday at 6am, I wake up to a journal time with @_MrsBig. I am not a great one for Monday mornings and so this has really helped me to structure my week. On the body side, I have spent the last two months with The Townsend Twins as my online PT's, they have helped me rediscover a love for moving and dancing and helped me stay at least a little healthy in this last lockdown. I also have to mention the wonderful Helen from Libra Beauty Cabin who I finally got to see when beauticians could work again!
Strengthening Connections
March was my Birthday, and as a present from Jesus (I am sure of this) we had a 22° day, complete with lots of motorway driving with dance anthems on, delivering Easter hampers for work, and a BBQ for dinner! I also had a birthday party of 6, which featured tapp'd cocktails, zinzie cakes, and my favourite people!
March and April were, despite the lockdown, joyful. For May I have felt it is right to move on and now focus on Peace and see what starts to grow! I am really excited that we are starting to look at how to re-open the Arden Theatre, perhaps meet face to face for church (we don't own a building), and that my workload is starting to look like my pre-2020 job description again! Here's to the last two, and to a peaceful May!
