All about Love | February Favourites

February was all about love! No not the romantic kind, although it did contain flowers! This was about exploring how to love better... here's how it went

Back to February and all things love! As I came towards the end of January, I was having a conversation with myself about what to focus on in the next month. I knew from my '21 for 21 list' that I wanted to spend time building this blog, ready for a March launch, but I didn't want to spend my whole life staring at a computer screen (both for work & play). It occurred to me that I would need to intentionally pull away from the screen and so #28daysoflove was born. A 28 investigation into what self-care looks like for me!

As I pondered on what this might look like, another thought grew in my mind. I was just finishing a bible study on the Fruit of the Spirit and the word love was niggling at me. Over the last year, I have struggled to love. I am not good with familiar and fixed, and the last year has been very much that. As well as me noticing my love for Jesus was cooling, I had also been challenged about whether I was being kind and loving to myself. So I set about to investigate! How can I love Jesus, Friends, Family, Church, my Home, Body & Mind, Me; extravagantly.

Instead, of reams of writing, I wanted to share with you some of the statements I wrote as I journaled through the month, focusing on love
