Grateful: A sleepy, thankful Tuesday reflection

Today I am grateful,

I woke up; and though it took longer than it should

to get out of bed,

I eventually did,

and I am grateful that today I woke up

Today I am grateful,

I attended; and though I was unsure of my role

in the place I was in,

I spoke from the heart

and I am grateful that I attended

Today I am grateful,

I spoke, and though I had not prepared all I said

you gave me words

and put courage into hearts

and I am grateful that I spoke
